Happy Canada Weekend

Happy Canada Day and happy long weekend! I will be going out to enjoy my favourite things of summer to celebrate. You guessed it - camping! I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend with family, friends, and good times. I will be back on Wednesday of next week and return all emails then. No new pictures this time, but I'm playing with a different lens this weekend so look out when I get back. Everyone have a great weekend!

Father's Day 2008. Grandma & Grandpa came for a visit and we took them to Bar U Ranch for the day. The last shot is of a cowboy who used to work at the ranch in the 40's. I couldn't resist grabbing this image of him sitting and remembering the old days in the very bunk & cookhouse he used to live in. It was so cool to be there on the same day he visited!

On a personal note, I'm off to see my baby girl who just turned 5 graduate from preschool tonight. How fast they grow!!

Happy Little Man

Well, it's been a while again. I really need to get better at this blogging task huh? My new goal is to post at the beginning of every week with all my goings on and that's a promise! My next post will be an update of what I have been up to with images of a beautiful Father's Day, my kiddo's dance recital and more. And, now that the weather gods have finally decided we can have a little sunshine in our lives here in Calgary, summer is looking up! To celebrate that happy fact, I'll be calling out for some fresh new faces with a special portrait offer so stay tuned and make sure to check back next week!

Now, I'll leave you with some good stuff... a shoot from last week. This little man is so happy!! When he smiles, it's not just a smile but an action that he completes with his entire head. And, it's not just any old "whole headed" smile, it's one that makes you just feel better about your day. All of you who have the pleasure of knowing him know exactly what I'm talkin' about.
